Keg at Bethlehem Brew Works. Hazy brown, thin fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of wheat, banana, caramel. Taste is caramel, banana, wheat, a bit of citrus. Medium bodied.

Pleasant but quite unlike any weizenbock that I have encountered before. There really was no noticable wheat presence. +++Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a black color with a small tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tart with notes of cherry and raisin. The flavor was sweetish molasses, raisin, cherry and had touches of anise and tobacco. The finish was long and sweetish with lingering cherry, raisin and molasses. Fairly full bodied.
