Dark amber pour. Even foam around rim. Thin foam. Sweet nose of dishsoap and wheat hops. Citrus zest and soap flavor.

Keg at the brewpub. Hazy orange, large foamy white head. Bitter citrus hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, overly bitter and off balance.

Draft, labeled Throatlatch, with matching commercial description and ABV of 8.5%: Mildly bready and yeasty aroma. Clear amber, medium head, some lace. Grass and bread, overripe orange overtones. Medium body, easy carbonation. Not super hoppy, but fairly enjoyable.
