Draught@SBWF2011. Hazy deep orange colour with a mediumsized off-white fluffy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, rather fruity and floral with some zesty and citrusy notes. Flavour is bigtime fruity and floral hops with a quite solid malty back to it. Rather bitter finish as well.

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head. Sweetish nose with lots of hops, piney and resiny. Sweet, bitter flavor with pine cones and resin, some faint citrus peel too, and some pineapple. Sticky, full-bodied and lighlty warming on the palate. Bitter and sweet finish. Overall, too sweet, but sure drinkable. 110527

Sample at SBWF 2011. Draught. Clear, deep amber body with medium off-white head. Looks like an IPA should. Aroma of citrus, gooseberries (simcoe that is), grapefruit, grassy and floral hops and some caramel malt. Taste is lightly sweet, highly bitter and nicely hoppy. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Really tasty IPA, lots of hoppy goodness.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy amber, rich firm creamy head. Distinct minty citrus and black currant aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Intense and very hoppy. The softness put all flavours on full display. Very bitter finish. Lovely hop bomb, although on the sweetside to be really drinkable.

Draught at Ørsted, Copenhagen
Hazy amber color, with a generous creamy cap, leaving behind a sticky lace. At first the aroma is very fruity, then it shows grassy and earthy traits, manure. The body is strong, the mouthfeel is luscious; the caramel and toffee flavor is very sweet, I have mixed feelings about that: it’s pleasant at first, but it gets cloying in the long run; anyway, as I appreciate dry IPAs and sweet American Barley Wines, this one goes as well; there is also a nice fruity touch, some mild resins, strong bitterness obviously, and some grassy and manure character. Very good.
