Taster from bottle. Near clear, dark-brown. Bright shiny surface. Smell of anise and coffee with a peaty punch. Roasted caramel malts in flavour. Coffee bitterness to the finish. OK, feels a bit thin in the mouth, though (Ølfestivalen, Copenhagen, 27.05.2011).
