On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A dense, minimal beige head sits on top of a dark brown body. Roasted, coffee-like aroma. Nice but one dimensional. The same goes for the flavor, with roasted malts and a touch of caramel. Medium to full body, low on carbonation. Although one dimensional and quite boring, it’s a nice beer. 110528

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Black, no head. Basil fights licorice for attention. Dryish and grainy with clean mouthfeel and medium-full body. Salty licorice dominates and gets a little harsh. Mild spicy bitterness.
