Handbottled. An almost black beer, but with a red shine under a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, malt, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet matly with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, caramel, and dried fruits, leading to a bitter and alcoholic finish.

Handbottle from the brewery. Pours dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, slight yeasty, spiced and dry malty. Yeasty, malty, roasted and lingering caramelish. Slight phenolic and roasted malty finish.

Handbottle 75 cl. Pours a pitch black with a creamy light brown head. Hard roast nose with some yeastiness. Solid body, hard roast, brown sugars, a little perfumy spice and a solid bitternes in the finish combined with quite some warming alcohol. Quite unusual and different, but very delicious. On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a big and lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate and banana, some roasted malt and a touch of dried fruits. Full, roasted and sweet flavour, with fruity yeast, bubblegum notes and a nice hoppy and roasted finish. An overwhelming beer that succeeds as a Belgian style imperial stout, but it felt a bit too much for me. Too overpowering, too much going on, and possibly too much Belgian yeast character for my taste.
