Cask at Old Wheatsheaf. Frimley Green. Clear golden-brown. Foamy off-white head. Aroma is malty with a bitter edge. Light-medium bitter. Earthy. Chewy. Twiggy. Tart berry edge. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Chewy but ultimately unexciting.

Cask at the salmon Inn. Pours clear amber, nose is toffee, floral, taste is toffee, floral, light fruit, sweet. 2.7

Cask at the Salmon Inn, Galashiels. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of light caramel and faint sweet orange. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

From cask at Lord John Russel, across the road from Judd Books in London with Terje 17.03.24. Dark amber. Persistent off-white head. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, amber malt, biscuits, dried papaya and orange marmalade.

Cask and The George Inn, London (30/03/2023) - amber with a white head. Pretty sweet bready malty and fruity, citrus fruit, light to medium body, too sweet overall for me.

Pint on tap at Gardeners Arms, Offerton. Golden bronze colour with thin creamy white head. Zero carbonation. Notes of buttery caramel on the nose. Some peppery/celery thing going on the background. Unusual. Laces well. Good body, smooth texture. Taste is dark burnt caramel with a finish of pepper, dark fruit and granny smith apples. Quite nice, unusual bitter.

Cask at The George Inn London. Slightly hazy amber body with a yolk head. Aroma and taste of caramel, bread, toast, butter and floral hops. Pretty nice bitter.

Cask at The Farmhouse, Kesgrave. Pours clear deep amber with a lasting white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
