Thin yellowish offwhite head. Amber body. Sweetish roasty caramelly aroma. Sweetish dry malty roasty caramel taste with spicy notes. Dry resiny wooden aftertaste. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Notes of tea linger. Very nice! (0.5pt on cask at the Plume of Feathers.)

Cask-conditioned at the Elephant & Castle, Amwell, Herts May 2006. Forgettable copper bitter. Fruity flavour and aroma, with not much of a finish. Inoffensive but bland.

Dark honey brown color, small off-white head. Flowery hoppy nose with hints of honey. Light bodied. Some English hops, trefoil and honey sweetness. Mild real ale, ok brew but watery.

[Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus] A brown beer with a small head. The aroma is slight of malt. The flavor is smooth, sweet malty with notes of caramel and wood before a dry finish takes over.
