Originally brewed in 2019 as a Collaboration between Fifth Ward and the Oshkosh Yacht Club as part of the OYC's 150th Anniversary, 1869 was so well received that we decided to make it a regular staple in the Fifth Ward line up.

Aromas are malt, yeast and house dust. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, loses the house dust and is a bit more sweet than bitter with okay carbonation. Basic straightforward blonde ale.

Pint can, 5/17/21. Slightly hazy gold, large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, lime. Taste is pale malt, lime, bread. Crisp. Simple.
