Tap at rossini, erfurt. Slight hazy golden. Aroma is grainy malty light buttery with good toasty base. Taste is more or less the same. Some buttery malty base with quite a few bitter hops notes. Quite balanced and drinkable. Not bad.

Tap @ Waldkasino. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and grainy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 100717

On tap at the brewpub. Trübes dunkel goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch sehr neutral, leicht hopfig. Geschmack angenehm hopfig bitter, würzig, getreidig.

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass light yellow, small creamy head. Starts mild, malty-yeasty, not much hoppy notes. Hints of cinnamon and some cookies. Finish still mild, dry-malty. Okay.

Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy golden color; creamy head. It has a nice aroma of biscuity malts. Quite good malt flavor, a bit crispy, wrapped in a smooth and lightly sweet body; the bitterness is quite high, actually the only note out of tune in this beer, being almost aggressive in the end. Rough, but not without interest.

Draught @ Waldkasino, Waldkasino 2, Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany 99096. [ As Waldkasino Steigerwald Pils ].Hazy medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, citrus, friuty, lime, orange - citrus, light perfume - soap. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, straw, hay - grass, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110425]

Fruchtiger, betont hopfiger Antrunk. Aromatisch setzt sich der Geschmack fort, im Vordergrund steht mehr die Getreidigkeit und die Herbe. Sehr frisch, in der Bitterkeit fast schon „nordisch“. Charackterstarkes Pils mit schönem Hopfenaroma. 9/12/12/12//12
