Dark red colour, tiny white head. Cellary, tart, berryish aroma. Medium-bodied. Berryish, quite sweet, tart flavour. Red currant, strawberry, low carbonation. Kind of sweet vineous. SIngle Fred is better!

A very mellow and light barleywine, with a nice touch of sourness going on. Very smooth drinking.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Bierridder_S. Sampled draft @ Hedonis Ambachtsfest 2017. Dark brown amber. Nose is weirdly muted, getting very little here, old candy and leaves. Taste is weird, massively sweet with sugar, toffee candy, sugar, marzipan, extremely sweet sugary finish, maple but also something weird low sour, spoiled leaves barely there. I questioned this blend working, it doesn’t really but it is nice very sweet & sugary and with time it might thin out and become something else. Body is all caramel, sugar, malt syrup.

Pours unclear redbrown. Small white head. Smell is full, bit dry oak, somewhat reminds me of bbq spices.. weird, but I like. Taste is full, intense, mildly sour, doughy darker malts, bit caramel, fleshy in a way ( unrelated to the earlier described spices which I dont find in the taste ) very doughy. Me like !
