Bottle sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Sweet with fruits and caramel. A tad more boozy than I expected judging from the abv. Pretty good.

Bottle as "Rippa". Pours brown with off white head. Nose and taste of apple, grain, sugar cone, toast and caramel. Lighter medium body.

750 ml swing top bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color. Creamy beige head with nice lace. Sweet yeasty toasted malt aroma tangy bittersweet malt flavor has notes of yeast and dried fruit. Complex cloying maltiness in mid taste. Dry warming finish.

Cask at St Albans beer festival 2013, Herts. An orange/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Sweet, fruity, caramel aroma. Tastes boozy, sweet, fruity, caramel, malty. Very tasty and drinkable.

Bottle - Weird malty, almost tomato to my nose, grains and grass. Very cloudy amber with a thick white head. Earthy, almost medicinal, sweetish malts and I don’t get the hops advertised.

750 swingtop as "Rippa" from Wine and Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange/amber with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is light fruit over a little brown sugar. Full bodied. Mild carb. Flavor is brown sugar with a good dose of fruity hop. It’s showing some heat, but that’s not a problem here. It is just on the sweet side, but the hope seems to be able to balance that pretty well. Dangerously drinkable fits here. There are some woody/herby aspects that thrill the palate. Very nice ale.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Woodsy aroma with citrus and toffee. Grapefruit and caramel flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Caramel and grapefruit linger with light earthiness.

Max’s Taphouse, Baltimore tap: Pours a sort of muddy color with an off-white head. Aroma has a hint of citrus, load of fruit, and plenty of maltiness. I ain’t sure what this beer has to do with a Belgian Triple, but it turned out fine. Easy drinking body, but still full and substantial. Balance was done very nicely. Alcohol was well covered. A weird British beer.

Draft. Clear bright amber color, almost flat. Aroma of butterscotch, maple syrup, candied figs. Taste is sweet, rich butterscotch, toffee, banana. Nice.

Gravity poured half-pint at the Kings Head, Norwich on 20 Apr 2013. Amber with a thin head, looked clean and clear. Sweet biscuity malt smell and taste: fruity biscuit with a sour, almost off (as in a vinegar hint) note towards the finish, complex and interesting, I liked it.
