Ray Kroc is credited with building McDonald’s into the billion-dollar hamburger Goliath that it is today. However, we all know the best time to visit Micky D’s is before 10:30 in the morning. Ray locked up the hamburger game, but he stole the breakfast idea from a pair of his fry cooks. Angus and Colin McMuffin were Scottish immigrants who were always cooking weird eggs and hash browns in the back of the restaurant. Kroc had one of those weird egg sandwiches one time and named the combo after the two brothers instead of paying them for the idea.

Aromas are mild sour dominating passion fruit, guava, raspberry and a hint of orange. Flavors are similar to nose with everything coming on stronger. Kind of a tart fruit punch.

Pint can from Niemuth's, 10/13/23. Hazy amber, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of fruit punch. Orange, passionfruit, berry. Taste is lemon, orange, citrus, tropical fruit. Reminds me of Jello. Moderate sour. Solid.
