Bottled@fonefan. Deep golden colour, no head. Aroma is honey, some sweet nectar and that’s about it. Flavour is extremely sweet honey and some nectary notes. Overly sweet.

Runder, durchaus schon alkoholischer Start mit natürlichen runden Honignoten. Der Alkohol ist später weniger deutlich erkennbar, erstaunlich süffig. 9/11/12/11/13/11

Bottle shared by Fonefan at his place. Clear pale orange golden color, no head. Smell and taste honey, slightly alcohol, lightly pear and apple mixed in there as well. Hmm ok I’d say.

Bottle. Pours light yellow. Aroma of honey, flowers, spices, light alcoholic. Taste is honey, flowers, cinnamon, light wood notes, alcohol. Thin bodied for a mead. 300312

Clear yellow without head. Aroma is sweet, honey, flowers and light spicy. Flavor is quite sweet. Quite sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily and sticky. 280112 and 290312

Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma has notes of honey, spices, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, spices, and flowers, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

37.5 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours clear and golden orange, no head. Aroma is herbal to slight floral honey. Sweet, apricot, floral, light herbal and sweet honey. Alcohol burn into the finish. I have a sense these are fortified. Ends alcohol warming and raisin sweet.

Corked bottle from the meadery in Billund
Measured Final Gravity: 1035
Hazy golden color; there is a small deposit in the bottle. There is some aroma of fresh chestnuts, chestnut tree sap, dark honey, forest leaves. Although this version avoids some of the flaws present in its two brothers, it has some similarities: medium sweet, with a strong alcohol presence and a lingering bitterness in the final; there is some caramel flavor and a very light feeling of stewed fruits; light trace of anise here too.
Not offensive, but another basic Mead. All overpriced.
