Bottle. Golden colour with no head. Aroma is flower, honey, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, honey, flower, alcohol. OK mead.

Bottle 375ml.Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, spicy honey, deep honey, dark honey, light to moderate alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a long duration, nutty, honey spicy, wood, marple. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20110411]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich honey and warming alcohol. Nice mead.

Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has notes of honey. Taste is medium sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden mead, oily and flat. The aroma has some flowery notes, but there’s honey dominating. Quite alcoholic. Warming and full-bodied in the mouth, oily, and with flavors of honey and some heather-like thing. Warming finish with a fine sweetness. Overall, like the other Honningvineriet meads I’ve had, it’s quite nice, but way too alcoholic. 110416

Bottle @ Ulfborg Easter Tasting, 2011. Pours clear golden with bubbles on top. Sweet honey and alcohol. Warmth . .Low carbonation. Syrupy and sweet. Drinkable.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden. Spicy honey aroma with distinct booze. Solid body, again spice and honey with a piney touch. Very hot finish. The best of this series. 160411

bottle at jan ... darker amber ... rich deep honey ... warming spice without it being spiced nose... thick viscous ... rich deep complex honey ... again im getting some warming spices ... great depth... very nice
