Cordially Yours was born over a mutual love of fine cocktails, fireside chats, and convivial complexity. A tag-team effort with the Nashville malt masters at Southern Grist Brewing, this Old Ale was blended with a Bourbon Barrel-Aged English Barleywine, lending a dash of wood-mellowed depth. Sporting fresh additions of Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Cacao Nibs and Cherry, Cordially Yours is a limited release.

16.9 ounce bottle from the Beer Trappe, 7/23/23 (early morning before bed / this is nightcap). Clear deep red, medium brown head, poor retention. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, coconut, nougat, cherry, orange, whiskey. Taste is cherry, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, raisin, cherry, cinnamon, whiskey. Booze well hidden. Not really reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but its nice.

Quarantine Beer #084 sampled at home on 04/25/2020. Cloudy mahogany-brown color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Sparse strings of lacing. Aroma of bourbon, malt, cherry and cinnamon. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, cherry, citrus and cinnamon. The finish is oaky with a boozy cherry cordial aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
