An unusual Irish stout made with seaweed (called dulse in Ireland) gathered from the coast near Belfast and smoked over an oak wood fire.
There is an ever-so-slight saltiness on the mouth and a smoky background to the nose: sea and burning oak.

Cask at Luppolo Station. Black with creamy head. Beautiful lacing. Roasty, chocolate, bitterish, super smooth. Medium sweetness with roasty bitter finish. Superb.

Roast and a little milk. Some bitter nut, coffee. Black pour with decent head. Good full bodied stout. Cask at Ma Che.

Jet black with a tan head. Aroma of creamy nut. Flavour is burnt malt, roast vanilla, dry roast creamy finish, burnt base.

Cask at Malton, Riccione, Italy. Pours almost black with brownish fine foam. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, cherries under spirit. Body is smooth, average as density, almost no carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter from roasted malt, limited sweetness. Finish is short.
