Aromas are the standard straight stout of dark malt, roast, hints of molasses, tobacco, cocoa, minerals and fruit. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more sweet than bitter with medium carbonation. Good, very drinkable but nothing too special.

Pint can from Total Wine Appleton, 12/14/24. Black, medium tan head, average retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate. Taste is roast, chocolate, piney hop. Well balanced.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has earthy dark grains and slightly musty roast and a bit of chocolate underlying. Flavor has earthy dark grains and some musty roast with a bit of bread in the finish.
