This sly red fox will remind you of a barrel aged Flanders Red Sour Ale, and she’s far more sour than the Dominatrix she replaced. The rich plum and raisin malt character is balanced with hints of phenols and esters from the Belgian yeast, all underlying the prominent sourness, reminiscent of cherry, currant, and orange. Keg at the brewery, 10/25/24. Clear red, large tan head, poor retention. Aroma of plum, stone fruit. Taste is tart cherry. Simple, lingering tartness.
