Bottle. Pale golden colour with no head. Aroma is honey, flower, alcohol. Flavour is honey, alcohol, sugar, elderflower. OK mead.

Bottle 375ml.Clear medium orange yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, flowers, elderflowers. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, wet towel. sharp. flowers - pollen. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20110411]

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden mead, still and oily. Flowery and honey-ish aroma with a good dash of alcohol. The flavor is quite influenced by the elderflower, with lots of alcohol burn on the palate. Honey too of course. Oily and full-bodied in the mouth. Way too alcoholic, but it tastes quite nice. 110416

Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has notes of honey. Taste is heavy sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Bottle 37,5 cl. At TEMA 2011. Pours golden with a slight haze. The nose is flowery while the honey is a little downplayed. Some sweetness yes, but also a slight tartness. Most surprisingly is a whiff of smoke. Medium body, very fruity without being overly sweet and the elderflower doesn’t really shine through. Again this strange smokiness which according to the producer is common in the heather honey that is the base of this mead. Interesting and different. 280211
