The big brother of a traditional scotch ale. Kilt Switch is a boozy, full bodied ale with hints of peat, carmel and roasted malt. Kilt Switch won a bronze medal at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival in the Scotch Ale category.
Kilt Switch Scotch Ale is a collab between Texas’ 903 Brewing and the Sherman Celtic Festival and Highland Games.
The only way to get a more authentic experience would be flying to Scotland!
Tasting Notes
Crack open the can and huge aromas of dates and raisins come barreling out like a charging army of kilt-clad Highlanders. Take a sip and flavors of caramel, plum, toffee and just a hint of smoky peat wash over the palate like mists across the moorland.
