Pint can at Fox River House, 2/23/24. Black, thin tan head, poor retention. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee milk. Taste is roast, coffee, dark chocolate. Tad bit thin. Needs some work. Almost a great beer.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has chalky dark grains with some earthy roast and a bit of dark chocolate underlying. Flavor has earthy dark grains and musty roast with some dry dark chocolate backing.
