Juicy, expressive, and playful on the tongue, Pippins reveals why cider was North Aerica’s favourite drink before Prohibition. This aromatic off-dry sparkler is as robust as our pioneers and the "Pippin" apple trees that flourished on our frontier.

2014-06-27, bottle at the cidery, 9.5% ABV, 7-3-6-2-13=31
Pale yellow color. Light aroma, fruity. Light residual sweetness, lighter acidity, not much apple, some alcohol.
Simple.
2014-04-12, bottle at Forage, Vancouver, 7-3-7-3-15=35
No vintage on the bottle, assumed it’s the 2008 because of the 9.5% ABV; Champagne-like bottle
Pale blond color, hazy. Fresh aroma of apples, citrusy, deep, a bit peachy. Dry mouthfeel; good dynamic flavor, green apples, citrusy. Moderate acidity, but well integrated.
Refreshing option, balanced.
