Mack Pilsner er en fyldig lys pilsner med en karakteristisk smak av malt. Ølet er svakt humlet, noe som gir en mild bitterhet.

330ml on tap at Mack’s ølhallen in Tromsø. Light golden with very little foam. Very light malty aroma. A bit corny flavour (hard to spot). Too much carbonation. A tasteless thirst quencher.

On tap. (Ølhallen, Tromsø). Bright golden with a small head. Served ice cold. A cautious malty aroma. Very light bodied. Too carbonated. Another tasteless norwegian lager.

(Bottle 33 cl) Now simply called "Mack Pilsner". Pilsener golden with a fine, white head. Soft, malty aroma. Lightly sweetish malty flavour with some weak notes of cardboard. Discreet bitterness. 071105

Medium, white normally laced head.; clear pale golden body. Faint hop aroma. Taste is clean and light, with a nice crisp edge to the aftertaste, and a definite saaz aroma. Very nice. Worthy, in fact, of a German brewery. (Not so strange, perhaps, given that Ludwig Mack *was* German.)

Canned. Ok, second in a row from Norway that is pure crap. Golden colour, big white head gives a reason not to give it minimum, as this is the only positive thing about the beer. Barnyard in aroma. Horrible barnyardish malty flavour...

Can with name "Macks Pilsner" (BB 08/2006)
Golden yellow, good white head. Ashy, plastic malty nose. Light, harsh, unclean and unbalanced malt drink. To be avoided. Pilsner? Are you kidding?

Pale yellow coloured. Very light bodied, crisp and with very low bitternes. Refreshing, but tastes more like a tropical lager than a beer brewed by the Arctic Sea.

A middle-of-the-road pilsener / lager from the world's northernmost brewery. Rerate: Typical pils golden colour, slightly darker than Mack Arctic Beer. Good head, fairly malty aroma for a pils, malty sweetness in the flavour, moderate bitterness. Just another pils, really.
