Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a pale straw with a small cream head. Oeanges and generic citrus to the fore in the aroma. Sweet and malty in the mouth with carmale, some citrus, but not much else. Finish is sweet with a dollop of lemon added. Nice enough, but a bit bland.

Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a subtle fruit malt aroma. It's light bodied, and smooth, with biscuit malt to the fore, and a hint of citrus bitterness

Bottle from Morrisons. Gold pour with small white head, no retention; not great. Hoppy, floral, citrus and malt aroma but all a bit sickly; I'm not going to like this am I? Taste is actually more like a hoppy lager with an element of citrus. There is a floral note but its more muted. The finish has a nice level of bitterness; its ok actually which is a relief. Body is light to moderate and an average carbonation; its ok Overall I fancy the Shropshire Lad much more.

11/2/2019. Bottle from Tuffins Supermarket, Craven Arms. Poured golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain and sweet bread. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Didn't wow me.
