Our premium Golden Bitter, Brewed with generous additions of American Cascade and New Zealand Motueka hops.
This is one of the first beers we brewed in the early days when the brewery was still finding its feet. It was originally an occasional summer beer, but proved quite popular so we now make it regularly. It's brewed to a simple recipe that has changed little over the years. Marks Otter pale malt, caramalt and a little wheat in the mash, Cascade & Motueka hops in the copper followed by a small Cascade dry hop addition.

Bottle picked up from Marks and Spencer, Bicester, consumed at home Monday 31st August 2015 Hazy warm gold with a thick white rim and Islands of bubbles. A flurry of tropical notes, a little pineapple perhaps. Sweet exotic fruitiness in the mouth but a tiny bit thin, pleasant beer but Arbor can and usually do better, that said it is pretty decent. Light hoppiness, malty middle, quite good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

568ml bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley. A hazy amber pour with a billowing cream head; gentle tropical fruit aroma; soft and creamy in the mouth with lots of tropical fruit, particularly kiwi fruit; then a gentle bitterness and some biscuit to finish. A very tasty blonde ale.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of grass, pineapple and kiwi fruit. Flavour of juicy orange, biscuit, berries and bread. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Very nice indeed - soft and fruity.

Cask stillage at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is citrus, mango, malt, light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a soft gorgeous zesty fruit light spice palate and a short bitter finish. My first beer at the fest and this could probably be the best too!
