Draught as a 5 oz sampler at Pyramid in Sacramento, CA, on April 23, 2011As "Apricot Ale"Cloudy yellow color, white head. Sweet, fruity, apricot taste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Apricots aftertaste. Teh apricots doesn’t take over, it rather complements the sweetness in the beer. Sweet apricots scent.

12 oz. bottle, pours hazy golden orange. Aroma of sweet apricot and citrus. Flavour is similar, with more of the citrus and sourness dominating towards the finish. Unspectacular.

It tastes like apricot. I’ll give them that. Unfortunately, it tastes more like apricot syrup and cough syrup than beer. The beer pours a cloudy and uninspiring gold. The head puffs up a bit but disappears very quickly. The smell is cough syrup and canned apricots. The taste is similar with abysmally little beer flavor. A hint of malt is all I got out of it. The feel is soda fizzy. It’s not entirely undrinkable if you try to see past the flavor, not exactly the highest compliment I’ve ever given.

I rated this one before it became "Audacious." It tastes a little different to me now. I don’t know if it’s because my palate’s changed in the last ten years or the beer has. Probably, it’s the former. I’d rate this closer to a 3.8 today. Pours apricot in the glass. Nose and taste is almost pure smooth apricot. Love it or hate it. Rated 11/31/2000

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with small white foamy head. Aroma is apricot, some slight sweet malts as well as mild cardboard. Flavour is quite much the same with some parfumes soapy notes. Quite watery.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy orange with an amber hue and a medium white head. Aroma was full of sweet apricots with a bit of a stale note. Flavor was overly sweet with apricot and a bit one note.

12 oz bottle. Strong aroma of apricot, a little wheat. Pours a hazy light orange with minimal head, mediocre lacing. Tastes of apricot (yes, you read that right--apricot), wheat, a little pepper. Lots of carbonation. All in all a great fruit beer.

3rd June 2008. Flavoued beer and it shows. The aprocot flavour seems artificial and the beer had buttery flavour. Bleugh!
