On tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook. Cloudy orange body with a small creamy white head. Very sweet apricot aroma. Sweet apricot flavor, with a wheat background.

Aroma is apricot and lightly bready. Cloudy amber color, medium head. Balanced sweet and sour taste of apricots, but nothing else. Abrupt finish. Tasty and refreshing, but kind of a one trick pony.

The aroma is apricot, period. The color could be called a hazy apricot. The head is not really there. Starts a bit thin. The beginning is wheat, immediately followed by apricot. The finish is wheat and apricot. No hop noticed, but that’s probably good for a fruit ale.

Bottle. Pour is cloudy orange - red. This looks quite nice in the glass. Initial aroma is mostly apricot, though did get a hint of malt in there as well. Taste is apricot, though I found it nicely balanced. Overall, I was not expecting to like this much, not a big wheat fan, let alone a fruit wheat fan, but this one actually did not taste like a "flavored" wheat. It really tasted like a nicely made apricot beer. And my mother in law loved it, so maybe I can stop buying Coors Light!

OK, so I’m not expecting much since it’s a fruit beer. The only one I’ve liked so far is Lancaster strawberry wheat. Twist off cap, 12 oz. Slight, sour fruit aroma, perhaps peach or apricot or nectarines. Pours as a cloudy wheat brew, darker than a witbier in my steeler stein. Apricot flavor, not too sweet, but sweeter than most all other fruitbeers I have tasted. No bitterness on the finish but perhaps its slightly artificial? Not quite as sweet as I would have liked but perhaps acceptable. Only reason it gets a decent rating is because its wheat.

12oz. bottle Pours out a yellow or more of an apricot color with a white head. There is apricot tast in it with out a doubt.

Bottle. Strong sweet apricot aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. Light slightly sweet apricot flavor - a bit more on the dry side than was expected. Nothing much more here than the apricot flavor.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) A hazy, golden beer with a small, white head. Distinct aroma of apricot. Medium-bodied, lightly sulphurous with distinct apricot flavours. But overwhelmingly a rather dry and fresh fruit beer with a subdued bitterness. High drinkability. 100506

bottle - Pours yellow orange. A hard pour yielded a medium sized, rapidly fading head. The strong aroma is of, you guessed it, apricots. That’s about it. It smells good if you like the smell of apricots. It tastes like some kind of apricot syrup dumped in a very weak weizen. The body is very thin and on the too fizzy side. It has a refreshing, very light finish. This one just isn’t very good.
