An unfiltered agave lager named in honor of Mexican Agave farmers. It is brewed with a traditional Vienna malt base with flaked maize added to the grain bill. The beer has the crisp, dry body that fans of Mexican style lagers will be used to enjoying. But the addition of the flaked maize and a massive amount of agave syrup give this refreshing beer an enjoyable underlying sweetness. A generous dose of New Zealand’s Wakatu hop shines through with its pronounced lime citrus notes, replacing the much reviled lime wedge in your beer. Jimador will be a great companion for the warm weather ahead!

Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: clear yellow color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet grains, light corn? hmmmm...I think so, light citrusy to floral hops further down in there
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a clean grainy sweetness to a slightly floral and citrusy quality; finishes crisp mostly through the hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness and nothing distracting along the tongue; good carb level
Overall: nice enough smooth drinking lager I could have next to my grill this Summer.

Pours a nice straw from a can, thick white head leaves some lacing. Grassy and floral aroma and flavor, light touch. I was expecting some residual sweetness, but it's nicely bitter. Pretty good beer.

Pours pale straw into shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet syrup aromas. Crisp with corn and malt upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.
