Mit unserer aromenintensiven Interpretation des traditionellen Märzens greifen wir die ursprünglich stark ausgeprägte Malzcharakteristik dieses Bierstils wieder auf. Es wird hierzu mit 50% Karamellmalz und einem speziellen Maischverfahren gebraut. Dadurch entsteht ein Bier mit trockener Karamellnote, ausgewogener Bittere und Aromen von Schwarzbrot und gerösteten Maroni.

07.04.2018 -- 0.65l bottle from braufactum shelf in marktkauf, bb 16.11.2019, 5.99€. pours a clear deep amber with a big beige head. strong caramel malts on the nose, almost like a belgian abbey beer or a barleywine, but without booze; some dried fruits and wood as well. flavour has much less sweetness than expected, with toasted malts and citrus. long bitter slightly roasty finish. nice!

Tap. Dark amber color with slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: sweet caramel, dried fruits (dried dates, figs and raisins), a little sweet sherry. Taste: wine, caramel, sweetness and dried fruits, a little hop.

Bottle from Real. The beer starts round and smooth. Moderate bitter with a nice caramelly grainy body. Not too sweetish, nice bittered parts. Round and mild, moderate bitter grainy, smooth and round. Nice.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Amber red pour with small white head. Prominent sweet malty with treacle and caramel notes, some nuances of mandarin peel, brown sugar, sweet malty finish, ok allbeit one dimensional.

Old rating from bottle. Copper color, kind of off white head. Some caramel in the taste. Nice.
