Mit unserer aromenintensiven Interpretation des traditionellen Märzens greifen wir die ursprünglich stark ausgeprägte Malzcharakteristik dieses Bierstils wieder auf. Es wird hierzu mit 50% Karamellmalz und einem speziellen Maischverfahren gebraut. Dadurch entsteht ein Bier mit trockener Karamellnote, ausgewogener Bittere und Aromen von Schwarzbrot und gerösteten Maroni.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty nose with crisp-bread, caramel, treacle-toffee, dried fruit and orange. Malty taste with notes of caramel, crisp-bread, dried fruit, honey, toffee, orange peel, hints of red berries and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Tasty and well balanced, uncomplicated but elegant. Quite nice.

650 ml bottle, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. BB-date today. ABV is 5.5%. Hop is Herkules. Beautiful copper colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Fairly refreshing flavour, malts, caramel (but not very sweet) and decent herbal hops throughout. A fine Märzen, but also more expensive than the bulk of them.

0.65l bottle. Clear amber body, off-white head. Aroma of toast, bread, cloves and some caramel. Taste of caramel, toast and fruity hops. Nice.

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, nussig. Geschmack röstmalzig, leicht würzig, nussig, getreidig.

Clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma had caramel, toasted malt and floral ops. Flavor was fairly sweet with caramel, floral hops and roasted malt. Fairly solid roast for the style. Not bad.

Flaska från SB. Drucken på bokklubb med Schnitzel vilket var perfekt. En välbyggd och rejäl klassisk märzen. Relativt stor brödig maltsötma, mycket kornsmak, men också fruktig med aningen apelsinskal och med lite lingon i bakgrunden. Kanske ingen öl som sticker ut, men mycket välgjord och trevlig.

650ml bottle shared by Gaute. Good lacework on the glassware from a near white foamy head. Transparent amber-orange coloured body. Dried fruits and berries on the nose as well as hints of mid sweet malts. Caramel malts and dried fruits to the taste character added by a spicy touch. Bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Soft in the mouth. Quite alright to drink (Tromsø 06.11.2013).

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear dark amber with a large head. Aroma of caramel, bread, some dried fruit and some yeast. Similar taste. Drinkable but not that interesting. The three beers realesed from this Brewery at Systembolaget in October 2013 were not that tasty, unfortunately....
