A throwback to the times when cold weather meant the influx of British winter ales. A time when malty beers were heralded and exotic and rare hops such as Fuggles were all the rage. These were not boozy beers to sip, but pub beers to quaff.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7
Pours clear deep amber into a pint glass. Off-white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel and bananas flambe aromas. Soft with sweet overripe banana and toffee upfront turning to mild earthy sourdough in lasting finish.
