The first IPA of our experimental batch series is dry hopped with Amarillo, Cascade, Mosaic and Perle. This amber-colored IPA delivers pineapple and citrus to the nose and a grassy bitterness with a hint of honey to the palate.

Pours deep amber into an English pint. Tan micro head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel, candy corn and butterscotch aromas. Soft with sweet toasted caramel and marshmallow upfront turning to mild tropical fruit pith in the lasting finish. Happy accident which I find better than the beer with which it shares much of it’s base.
