Rather light aroma has some nuts. Flavour has suprising amount of hops, causing the taste of exotic, aged fruits. Also some nuts. The hops cause a bit dryish palate. Rather hoppy and dry for an amber ale, too nutty and woody for me.

Deep amber color, steady creamy beige head, lace. Bready, berryish aroma. Medium-bodied. Berryish, bready flavor. Some caramel. Typical "Danish flavors" in this brew. Way too bready and berryish.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20110724) The beer poured brown with red shading and clear. Its head was medium sized and very lightly brown. Aroma had hops, fruitiness, caramell, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, malts, roasted malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. Nice and a bit musty beer.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Lightly hazy copper colour, small head. Aroma of black currant anbd gooseberry. Dry, crisp and hoppy. The bready malt may be bit shallow, but the beer is hoppy and really refreshing.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy amber body. Citric resiny mango aroma with orangey notes. Dry-sweet spicy oily orangey resin taste with peppery notes. Mid-bodied. MIld, osft mouthfeel with some alcohol or spice heat. Dry-sweetish spicy tropical fruit aftertaste with peppery mealy notes. Nice, could be better. (0.1l draft at DBF’11.)
