Trinkbar. 8/5/6/5/4/5

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a dense, white head of moderate size. The aroma is bready and slightly banana-ish, some clove notes. The flavor has a distinct metallic touch, more than a touch actually, especially in the finish. Thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. The initial flavor is grainy and bready, with some banana and cloves. Not all bad, but I won’t revisit. 110320

The bottle looks simple, the beer in the glass is very zippy, modest turbid. Starts very malty-moldy, dry-floury, not really yeasty. Doesn’t taste like a hefeweizen. Finish too moldy-dry. Nothing special!
