Draft. A hazy dark-amber beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma has strong estery notesof fruit, medium notes of yeast and light notes of butter - very far away from the aroma of a lager, so according to style I’d give it 2 in aroma. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and bread mixed with notes of butter, yeast, and straw, leading to a dry slightly bitter and slightly buttery finish.

(On tap) Beautiful - almost clear - reddish amber with a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Lightly sweet aroma of caramel and malt with a whiff of butter. Medium-bodied with a very solid and sweet caramellish base. A dry, lightly bitter finish creates a very balanced and quaffable lager. 040408

From tap at the brewpub. Pours slight cloudy reddish to copper brown with a light tan and creamy head. Light toffee and mild roasted malt aroma. Caramel malty flavour with a mild spice note. Light bitterness into the finish followed but a mild sweetness and light fruity note. Classic Apollo yeasty and butterish note in addition.
