Blauer Bock - unser "Hessisches Original" - seit Jahrzehnten bundesweit "Inbegriff für Apfelwein", vollmundig im Geschmack mit unverwechselbar fruchtig-frischem Aroma. Durch ein spezielles, schonendes Gärverfahren (Kaltvergoren) erhält der Blaue Bock Apfelwein sein charakteristisches, reintöniges Bouquet. Mit Mineralwasser gemischt ein herrlich erfrischender Genuss.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, still, golden cider. Too sulphury on the nose, overpowering the apples. The flavor too is quite sulphury, but at least there’s a nice apple flavor that lasts a while. A bit on the sweet side for my likings, but sure drinkable. Lacking on the refreshing qualities. Sure better than industrial Scandinavian ciders, but it’s too unclean. 110319

Bottle @ Denmark/Norway Tasting @ Ulfborg 2011. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours clear yellow with a small bubbly off white head. Nose is manuer, sulfur and farmyard. Dry and very tart flavor. Thin and watery. Vague apple.

(bottle, 100cl) Clear, pale golden colour without foamy head. Sulphuric apple-fruity nose. Moderately sour flavour, light bodied almost without carbonation. Dry apple-fruity mouthfeel with notes of sulphur; dry and slightly tannic apple-fruity finish. 28.X.10
