Draft at Jackie O’s Brewpub, 7/14/14, thanks to Dr. Silverworm. Pours a very dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of big citrus hops, mild roasted malt. The taste is bitter hops, roasted malts, mild vegetal and band-aid notes.Medium bodied, slightly off. The fact that this is the one "bad" beer I had during my Ohio Beer Week visit says very, very good things about Ohio’s brewers.

Sample at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. Dark brown pour with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, hops and citrus. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, resiny hops and citrus. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
