Kölsch is a clean, crisp, delicately balanced ale with a very subtle fruity aroma. Subdued maltiness throughout leads into a pleasantly well-attenuated and refreshing finish. Imbhubesi, which translates to "the lion" in Zulu, was brewed to benefit the B.O.Y.D. (Building Our Youth's Development) group. Their mission is to promote critical thinking skills that foster civic responsibility and increase cultural awareness for students grades 3-12 and their families in the greater Trenton area. The lion is also a symbol on the fountain and gates of the Cologne Cathedral in Germany, the region where the Kölsch style originated
