Saison brewed with rye and honey malt. Dry, refreshing finish with notes of spice, citrus, and mild bitterness.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: bronze/copper color with a chill haze to it and two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy & floral to earthy to a kiss of herbal notes with a nice rye semi-sweet maltiness
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fair earthy sweet to herbal sweet and then pops in a sly zesty/slightly spicy note; finishes dry with a zing of the rye
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness; the rye seems to be tame in it's aggression and didn't zap my tongue as I thought it could have
Overall: pretty nicely done rye saison that seems a bit tamer than I thought in it's rye features; however this seemed to work and this would be a beer I would return to.

16 ounce can from Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury, VT. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour. Large, rocky beige head. Earthy, grainy malt aroma. Zesty, grainy flavor leans toward earthy rye malt. Some yeasty character, though it is subtle. Spicy and dry. A clean, crisp palate. Perhaps a bit of nuttiness, as well. Not getting much citrus, but still an enjoyable beer.
