Historically, Imperial Stouts are a formidable style brewed to withstand long voyages. To honor the centuries long tradition of this luxurious style, we’ve added an extra layer of complexity with cherries. Velvety on the palate but strong enough to accentuate bold, roasted chocolate notes. This beauty reminds us of a slice of rich Black Forest Gateau. There’s no need to amp the booziness with traditional cherry brandy, but there is a requirement to savor every sip!

On tap at Uno Chicago Grill in Hamilton, NJ. Number one with a bullet. Opaque black pour. Creamy tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma hints at candied cherries. Rich, bittersweet chocolate flavor upfront. Notes of charcoal and espresso. Cherry flavors are there, but very subtle. Finishes dry and decidedly bitter.
