Imagine, if you will, traveling to Bavaria, Germany without ever leaving your chair, sipping on one of Munich’s oldest and most delicious styles. This beer will get you there (or so says Dr. Greta Pinder-Schloss)! Our dunkel, which means “dark” in German, is a rich and smooth lager with notes of chocolate and toffee, that is balanced by the noble hops. Dark and complex, much like Uncle Fester from America’s most mysterious and spooky family. One thing’s for sure, we’d trade all our family doubloons for this lager!

On tap at Central Jersey Beer Fest at Mercer County Park. Number one with a bullet. Translucent mahogany brown color. Creamy tan head. Sweet, toasted malt aroma. Flavor follows nose. Earthy, toasted malt notes. Hints of toffee and milk chocolate as well. smooth on palate. Decent.
