Rating number 6,200. I wanted this to be something special. I purchased this 375 ml corked and capped bottle from the Free Will Taproom in Lahaska, Pennsylvania back in December of 2020. Bottled in July of 2018. Label says only 1,842 bottles were produced. Hazy, orange amber pour has a frothy beige head that goes finger high. Tangy, earthy yeast nose hints at dried stone fruit and preserved lemon. Tart fruity malt flavor has yeasty funk and notes of dried apricots. Soft, supple mouthfeel. Rich, earthy character. Medium bodied. An easy drinking, approachable farmhouse ale that offers wonderful flavor and complexity.
