Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orange-goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, leicht bananig fruchtig, minimal säuerlich.

Wässriger, hefig herber Antrunk. Leider wird das Bier im Mittelteil nicht ebsser, die vorhandenen Aromen bleiben aber immerhin konstant. Zum Ende aber wieder wässriger, es bleiben kaum Aromen vorhanden, wenig Heu. 6/6/8/5/7/5

Bottle. Golden-orange colour with a white head. aroma is fruit, malt, wheat. Flavour is fruit, malt, wheat. Medium to thin body. Boring beer.

Bottle 500ml.Hazy medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, paper, yeast. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20110319]

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a finger-thick white head. Not much aroma here, some puke like notes in the far back and a touch of pale malts, banana and cloves too. The flavor isn’t much better, it’s not disgusting, but I definitely won’t drink it again. Not many breweries seem to master the art of a light weizen, Engelbräu Rettenberg doesn’t either. 110319

Bottle @ Denmark/Norway Tasting @ Ulfborg 2011. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours murky dark golden with a egg white head. Nose is sweet. Paper, banana and wheat. Tart fruity flavor with a bit of paper. Medium to thin body.
