Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s an unclear one, almost brown in color and with a finger-thick soon diminishing off-white head. A quite uninteresting blend of banana and caramel in the aroma, some cloves chiming in. The flavor has caramel in the back, with banana and cloves up front. Not much bitterness detected neither in the initial flavor nor in the end. Medium body, a bit low on carbonation for the style, not that I’m rating to style. 110318

Bottle. Dark chocolaty brown beer with a very strong head. The aroma is gently malty, and the flavour is sweetly roasted and malty as well as lightly yeasty and mildly smokey. Overall a nice beer.

(bottle) Hazy, ruby brown colour with a big, but not very persistent, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and bubblegum-fruity nose with a moderate wheat-character and shy toasty notes. Medium-sweet and slightly acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather flat carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Fruity (mainly banana) taste with a moderate wheat-profile; sweet and minimal sourish banana-fruity and wheaty finish (24.07.08).

Huge, creamy head, retreating with some lace; brown, very hazy beer with orange/mossy highlights. Creamy, nutty, even a bit of cacaopowder. Then banana, fruitacids and peanut-like fatty acids. Sweet, fruity first, drier taste later. Again a bit of arachide, but complementing the flavourprofile rather than disturbing it. Tart-ish banana, wheat, and a bit of cacao powder. Medium bodied, wheat slickness. Remarkedly less carbonated than the other Kauzen beers. Decent, if not exciting Dunkelweizen. Thanks to Ann & her crew!
