(500ml bottle from 4th and 7, Toronto) Pours black with a tiny cap of stray browish bubbles. Aroma of moderate maple, deep toffee/caramel, moderate chocolate, bready lightly roasted malts, edge of savoury cinnamon that's not peppery but gives the aroma of French Toast. Flavour is a little more maple-heavy than the nose, sweet bready dark malts with a kiss of chocolate, light to moderate savoury cinnamon, lactose creaminess, soft roast, long savoury cinnamon finish without peppery heat. Medium-bodied, very slick; decent thickness for an ON stout but not on US stout levels with very soft carbonation and no alcohol. Nice solid pastry, even if I probably left the bottle a little too long.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with small tan head. Maple, light chocolate, lactose, hint of leather, light cinnamon.

500ml (thx, Chris S.!) @ Ryan's shared with Farees. Appearance: a nice dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: a bit smoky, some acidic fruity character, roasted malts. Taste: thick, moderately sweet, some maple, lacto. Overall: pretty nice one.
