What’s a Bière de Coupage you ask? Basically, it’s blended beer, usually of old (barrel aged) and young (fresh) components, and that’s exactly what we’ve gone and done here. Sunkoop II is a blend of 70% fresh n’ juice dry-hopped beer fermented in stainless steel and 30% 1 year old barrel aged sour beer with passion fruit. It’s a little tart, nicely hoppy, and very much in the tropical fruit zone.

375ml (thx, Peter K!) @ Ryan's shared with Farees and Alex. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: nice funk, barrel, rustic notes. Taste: along the same lines, nice fruity notes, some ascorbic notes. Overall: very nice.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Slightly hazy blonde with small white head. Crisp light rustic lemon citrus with very mild passionfruit notes underlying everything.
