Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Very mild sweet malt with subtle hint of caramel. Not really picking up any oak. It’s clean and crisp, I’ll at least give it that...

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Golden colour, clean. It's just slightly more malty than a boring Pale lager, but really it doesn't have the depth of a good beer, it doesn't have the (yet timid) presence of a German Festbier, and it's definitively underhopped.
Everybody jumped on the Festbier bandwagon this year, and this one has been rather disappointing.
