HOMEGROWN is an English lager made with homegrown organic malt, and hops from our fair island.
We had the pleasure of having Little Earth Project down to Deptford to bring this one to life. They brought along their homegrown organic barley for the brew – which was floor malted at Warminster Maltings – for a light, malty base. UK grown Cascade and Target hops bring some herbal and citrus notes, lovely stuff!

From tap at Villages Taproom with JFE 29.09.22. Translucent golden. Dense white head. Excellent aroma and taste of pilsner malt, acid malt, tangerines, Sevilla marmalade, and succade. Good bitterness is lingering on. A great lager!

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Almost clear, pale amber, creamy white head. Aroma of sour mash, grain. Taste is maltdriven, citrus and marmalade.
