A vienna style lager, with a fresh, flowery nose and a malty palate. Produced with AC/DC in the speakers at the brewery to ensure the perfect quality.

Changed from 5.2 to 5.5% spring 2012.

New York goes Stockholm i denna india pale lager.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Labeled as East River Spring Lager. Very light amber/gold, clear liquid with firm small white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, grass, brittish/earthy hops, wort and biscuity malt. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter with hoppy notes. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Nice and hoppy, crisp.

Bottle. A clear one, golden in color. Off-white head. Grainy pale malts and fruityness on the nose. Some piney notes. Medium body, a bit hard on carbonation. Fruity flavor with some bitterness. Short finish. Sure a pleasant beer, for session use, but quite boring, so I’d probably find something else. 120301

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Dusty malty earthy peas aroma with caramelly herbal notes. Dry-sweetish dusty earthy caramelly taste with wooden peas notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, dusty mouthfeel. Dry grassy herbal dusty aftertaste with resiny wooden notes. Nice, extremely drinkable, and very vivid and clear flavours. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Aroma is rather hoppy and fresh with some bready malt. Flavour has rather nice hops with exotic fruits and hints of grass. Also some bready malt. Refreshing vienna.

Bottle. Typical modern american lager. The right level of american hops makes it real drinkable. Sweet malts are there aswell.
